Prop Reports

Each County prepares a Property Information Report for every property that is headed to the auction block. This report is also called the Ownership & Encumbrance Report or Title Report.

These reports contain a wealth of information that you need, including but not limited to:

  • Property Address
  • Owner Name
  • Owner Mailing Address(es)
  • Assessed Value
  • Mentions of Documents that may be liens on the property which could take the surplus
  • If a Property Owner is deceased, this report may contain the names and address of heirs
  • If a Property is owned by a business, this report may contain the Registered Agent of that business which in turn leads you to the Business Owners name and address.

We also have a Property Report Research Guide with an example of a Property Report from each county, showing you where on the report to locate each piece of information you need.
