Enhancements Explained

BACK TO LIST OF RECORDS

The purpose of the records on the surplus table is to allow you to use our website to enhance surplus records you received from elsewhere. You can search by the Record ID if your surplus record came from TaxAuctionSurplus.com. Otherwise, search by the Parcel Number, Tax Deed Number or Property address.

If you subscribe to websites such as TaxAuctionSurplus.com (that is also us), TaxSaleResults.com, ExcessElite.com or any other site that offers surplus records, or if you obtain surplus lists directly from the County Websites, you can take those “bare-bones” lists, bring them here, and we greatly enhance those records to save you a lot of time.

What do we add? Everything! (Read below)

All the information, lien research and the Property Information Report that the county prepares for each tax deed property headed to auction.

So you simply take a record you receive elsewhere, use our table to search for it, then add it to your cart.

Keep in mind, the records on our table have the following criteria:

  • Over $10,000 in surplus
  • In the following Florida Counties:
Alachua Highlands Orange
Bay Hillsborough Osceola
Brevard Indian River Palm Beach
Broward Lake Pinellas
Charlotte Lee Polk
Citrus Leon Putnam
Clay Levy Santa Rosa
Collier Manatee Sarasota
Duval Marion St Johns
Escambia Martin St Lucie
Flagler Miami-Dade Volusia
Gulf Okaloosa Walton
Hernando Okeechobee Washington

Why we do not provide records for the other counties

Because in order to download the Property Information Report from the county and research any liens on the property, that county has to provide their tax deed auction documents online. The above counties do.

For each record that you order, you receive a PDF report like this. We’ve highlighted the most-often missing information from other surplus lists.

Why you cannot see the surplus amount on the table of records

Because you should be bringing your surplus records over from another website and already have that information. We do show you the surplus amount after the purchase, on the PDF Report, along with all of the other information.

If you do not have a surplus list from elsewhere, you are of course still welcome to still purchase our records. All of them are guaranteed to have at least $10,000 in surplus.

If you want them all instead of paying one by one, you can upgrade to another level.

HOW TO USE OUR WEBSITE WITH YOUR SURPLUS RECORDS

Let’s say you grab a surplus list from Alachua County

Copy the Case Number (which is always the Tax Deed Number in our records), or the Parcel Number and bring that to our website.

Enter that number into our search field. When found, click Add To Cart.

As soon as you finish paying, you are presented with the download link.

VERY IMPORTANT

The records in our database are just as they were on the day of the auction. We do not go back and update to accommodate for claims or surplus remaining. So if you are purchasing older records, you will need to check to make sure the surplus is still valid before you pursue.

We do have a video series on YouTube showing you how to check for claims and remaining surplus.
