UPDATED REPORT FOR AFTER THE 120 DAY LIENHOLDERS DEADLINE
LDP Report (Lienholder Deadline Passed)
Every Monday morning, we pull a report to show all records where any liens that were on that property are no longer able to claim any surplus (the lien-claim deadline has been reached) and therefore, any surplus money still available is due only to the previous property owner. We then re-research those records to see if any claims were made and if there is surplus remaining.
Our re-research consists of pulling up the tax deed documents for each record, checking to see if there are any claims showing and how much surplus may or may be left for the property owner. We do not call the counties to verify what we see online, therefore it is in your best interest to always contact the county and verify a surplus amount and availability before you pursue it.
Please Note, there are limitations as to the counties we do and do not research. Some counties do not provide their claim documents online and therefore, we do not know the status. These records ARE included in the report so you can contact the County yourself if you wish to do so.
