Texas NO The reasons are:

  1. A person who is not an attorney may not charge a fee to obtain excess proceeds for a property owner.
  2. Attorney fee is limited to 25% of the amount of surplus collected or $1,000, whichever is less.
Therefore, $1,000 per record is the most you can earn.

We have to question why anyone would work excess proceeds asset recovery in Texas. If you really want us to provide surplus records for Texas, and you know something different, let us know and we’ll jump on it.
